Thanks so much to all the zombies that came out and joined us for the 2012 event. It was a very cold morning, but turned out to be a beautiful day! We are excited to say that we had 80 official dancers in the Thriller dance.

supporters, and the incredible super-volunteers that make this event possible.
How do we do it?
We all dance to “Thriller” at exactly the same moment. Preparation is part of the fun but the feeling of being connected to people thinking and doing the same thing at the same time, celebrating a true inspirational genius of Michael Jackson, is what keeps people coming back year after year. Also, knowing what bad dancers Zombies are, it helps people renew or even discover the joy of dance, without worrying about whether they are “good.”
Following the Thriller dance, zombies are welcome to participate in the ZOMBIE RELATED ONLY costume contest and then the Zombie Walk in downtown Roswell. The Sci-Fi Film Festival and Digital Shootout will be showing the winning films from the June 2012 Cosmic Con at the Bassett Auditorium in the Roswell Museum and Art Center following the Zombie Walk. Downtown merchants will also be open for shopping.
How does it work?
There are so many reasons for participating that we could go on, but this is how it works. Anyone can participate by registering with Thrill The World. Then Zombies learn the dance, and at 1 p.m., join the world in dancing to “Thriller”.
Raise Funds for Charity
This year, proceeds from this event will be donated to an United Way agency and MainStreet Roswell.

THE DANCE WORKSHOP
We all use the same choreography based on the music video. Instructors will be on hand to help you learn the dance and they will also be holding workshops prior to the event. You’ll realize it’s surprisingly easy!!
